The Global Engagement Office (GEO) is responsible for forming and implementing a coherent strategy to promote the University’s international development and global profile.

The undergraduate admission of SUSTech adopts comprehensive evaluation enrollment mode based on national college entrance examination.The graduate admission of SUSTech currently adopts joint training mode.

The main duties of SUSTCEF is to accept the donations from the domestic and foreign associations, enterprises, trading companies and individuals, and establish the funding projects depending on the demands of the university and the wishes of the donors.





Research Area One: Optoelectronics Science and Technology

Staff: Zhang Xinhai, Chen Rui, Luo Dan, Chen Shuming, Wang Kai

Research Contents: Optoelectronics science and technology is a brand new cross-curricular constituent by optics & electronics. The research includes: optoelectronic materials and its microstructure as well as the new optic electronic device and system. The research includes: semiconductor optoelectronic materials and micro-nano structure (including low dimensional quantum structure), organic LED, quantum dot LED and its application in optical display, nanophotonic , plasmons, THz optoelectronics, laser spectrum and optoelectronic device and new laser source. 


Research Area Two: Micro-nano Electronic Parts

Staff: Yu Hongyu, Wang Fei, Cui Dehu, Jaewon Park, Zhan Chenchang

Research Contents: This is mainly studies physics of semiconductor devices, functional electronic material, solid electron device, IC and design and manufacturing technology of the system which including advanced imitation in all types, mixed signal, power management IC and system, MEMS and computer aided design and manufacturing technology, biological micro electro mechanical system which includes preparation of biomedical micro instruments, design and manufacture of microfluid system, etc.


Research Area Three: Communication and Information System

Staff: Chen Yifan, Wang Yue, Zhang Qingfeng, Cheng Qingsha

Research Contents: The research includes (1) small scale communication and perception which includes molecular communication, nano communication, nano IOT, nano sensor network, bio soluble nano system, etc. (2) Multi-scale communication and sensor including large-scale multi antenna system, heterogeneous social networks, resource scheduling and optimization for multi - tier wireless systems, integrated cognitive radio system and other multi scale communication and sensor technology. (3) Sustainable communication and perception which includes green communication, green perception, energy harvesting technology, visible optical communication, power line communication, wireless information and power transmission, Orbital angular momentum modulation technology, etc. (4) Design of microwave millimeter wave communication front-end system and radar system which includes design and system integration of antenna, filter, amplifier, mixer and other device. (5) Space mapping technology, alternative model modeling and optimization, electromagnetic stimulation debugging technology, and computer aided design for microwave devices.
