The SUSTech Education Foundation consists of board of directors, board of supervisors and secretariat. The board of directors is the top of the power structure of the foundation; the board of supervisors is responsible to check finance and accounting information in accordance with law and regulations; secretariat is the standing administrative unit of the foundation, which is responsible to the daily work of the foundation under the leading of leaders in the board of directors.

Social Science Center of Southern University of Science and Technology is adhering to the value of "distinctiveness, high quality, integrated, and innovation". Our mission is to build a highly professional faculty team and provide sophisticated general curriculums. By providing humanistic education and creating humanistic campus environment, we educate and encourage our students to become professionals who have more comprehensive knowledge and stronger sense of social responsibility and justice.
As a high-end scientific research platform, ISocial Science Center will fully promote our university’s scientific research and postgraduate training. The Academy of Social Sciences will serve as a research platform and incubator by holding activities including "Social Science Forum", "Workshop of Advanced Research Institute", "Scholars of Advanced Research Institute", "Advanced Research Institute Series" and “Research Fund of Advanced Research Institute”, which will further integrate the platform from our various disciplines and enhance the academic level, reputation and influence of our university.
